This is Hypnochrome. The trio consists of guitarist Attila Mühl, saxophonist Moritz Köther and bassist Lars Gühlcke featuring drummer Bodek Janke.
They take their name from the stellar stero sound of guitar and alto saxophone, creating a hypnotic ressonance inbetween melodic bass lines and pulsating rhythms.
Handcrafted and homemade contemporary jazz music, improvised and composed in between tradition and innovation, playful and modern. With their new album they are sharing their vision of sound, improvisation and original compositions balancing jazz tradition and modern aesthetics.
